What happens after I book a 50 minute session?
A confirmation email and other forms that you must fill out before the appointment will be sent to you. This enables the therapist to make better use of the time during the session.

What happens in therapy?
In therapy, you are invited to discuss current and/or past concerns and grow from them. The therapist starts by probing you about them and they enquire further about your family, education, and general well-being.

How do I know if therapy is working?
Emotions that are difficult to handle will become less intense and frequent over time, as well as an acute and deep understanding of oneself and /or partner.

What happens if I don't feel like I have a connection with my therapist?
That’s OK....you can call our admin or clinical director to set you up with another therapist.

How does therapy work?
While in Therapy you get the chance to examine your thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns. Additionally, it can assist you in developing new coping mechanisms and methods for handling daily pressures and overcome past difficulties or challenges over times. The Therapist assesses core beliefs about self worth, about the other, and the world.

Will there be homework?
Yes. Most likely, your therapist will assign you activities that allow you to examine your feelings as well as some coping mechanisms for trying times.
